Rue Du Lac Master Bathroom Remodel
This Preston Hollow home built originally in 1978 had a really sad master bathroom that was depleted of life. With breathtaking views of the lake from these bath windows, the homeowner wanted to take advantage of the natural light in the wet room area. He wanted an unobstructed view of the lake behind his home but also privacy when getting ready for the day. We installed electrified glass that frosts at the flip of a switch allowing instant privacy but still letting the light through. We created a wet room placing the Kohler Underscore soaking tub under the windows and aligned the shower beside it. The shower has a Kohler ceiling mounted rain shower head with integrated chroma therapy accompanied by a Kohler wall mounted rain shower head controlled by a touch button Kohler DTV. Honed white marble tile from Waterworks adorns all of the walls. We lined the floors with a Scluter Ditra Heat Flooring System and a hidden linear floor drain. We used a floating vanity from Canyon Creek Cabinet company and topped it with Pure White Vicostone and under-mount sinks. The sleek chrome faucets, bath hardware, and sleek vanity sconces frame the bathroom. Lastly, the water closet got a major update with the Kohler Numi toilet with integrated bidet (and in case you were wondering, it has a remote control and will play music!). We think it is safe to say that this master bath stands out from the crowd and is quite a remarkable change from before!
