Donegal Transitional Update
This blended family of seven was in dire need of some better functionality in their home. The mom/wife was a very organized person, but the house just didn’t function the way it should with all five kids living under one roof. They needed another bedroom and full bath and desperately needed a study zone for these kids! They have a fabulous backyard with a large pool, trampoline, and sporting equipment everywhere, so the kids were outside a lot! They wanted to open up where the windows were from the kitchen to the patio to be able to have a full view of them playing in the backyard.
Aside from that, the house was built in 2000, so it had dark kitchen cabinets and finishes throughout the house. They wanted to brighten it up inside by opening up the kitchen, removing the large dark built-ins in the family room, and bring in as much natural light as they could.
