Hartland Lake House Remodel

After completing a Kitchen and Master Suite remodel at their home in Whitefish Bay, our clients purchased a lake house on Beaver Lake to have a guaranteed weekend getaway spot for their family. Due to the property lines, the addition by the previous owners left the house feeling long and narrow, with blocky areas like the kitchen and family room not helping the flow.



When you walk into the house, the whole back wall is filled with beautiful views of the lake. To keep the focus on the views, we took down partial walls that were surrounding the kitchen and made an open-concept front entry, where you can immediately see the kitchen, family room, dining room, and reading nook that are enriched by the views behind them. The bedrooms and bathrooms got a refresh, while the back room acquired a partial wall with a pocket door to create an office.



Half of the garage had a guest house with a half bath for visiting family members and friends, which also received a refresh.
