This three-bedroom, 2.5 bedroom home was built in the historic district of Thomas Square. The architect, Josh Ward, of ward preservation + architecture, referenced a neighbor’s home to make this infill home fit in with the scale of the neighborhood while still giving it is own modern feeling. The exterior uses James Hardie Artisan siding to get a clean-metered edge on the corners which gives the home a contemporary look. The black and white palette are modern without being stark. The interior features polished concrete floors on the first floor, white oak floors on the second floor, funky tiles and fun lighting fixtures.
