When Walter joined Alair, tools and support for perfecting his vision became closer than ever. Optimistic and visionary, Walter leads our team with humility and enthusiasm. As a regional partner, Walter is set to develop the Southeast Georgia region with a network of Alair offices, where he can lend his strategic thinking, empowerment and personal development skills to other business owners.
 
In his personal life he is supported by his wife and three daughters. You may also see Walter serving and returning on the tennis court, a lifelong passion of his. Walter always has a podcast or book recommendation for you, so keep your pen handy to write it down!

 
David was born in Venezuela, and he immigrated to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina when he was twelve. After graduation, David started his first company JD Painting in 2005. Through David’s obsession with attention to detail and his innate tenacity, David grew that business to include carpentry and handyman services. David wanted to travel further into the construction industry and so after doing smaller scale renovations in his prior business he started Alair Low Country. David and his wife, Jessica, have four children who keep him on his toes! On the weekends, David likes to stay active with his family through bike rides, sports and more. He also loves to take the family out on the boat, park at the sandbar to cookout. David's a fan of stand up comedy [live and recorded] and enjoys a baseball game of any type. David’s superpowers are being bilingual, as well as his kindness.

 
Looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, over 25 years of experience, and a passion for client relationships? Look no further than Cal Rowles. The daily challenges and on-your-feet problem solving give Cal energy and excitement. He loves providing top-notch service and lending his expertise to our clients and our team as our general manager. Cal’s an avid golfer, which allows him to continue practicing patience. His home wouldn’t be complete without his wife, and their two Boxers, who continue to think they are lap dogs, even though they are full grown!

 
Jessica’s background includes fashion design, retail management, sales, operations, social media management, and content creation. Her positive demeanor, entrepreneurial spirit and can do attitude help with all facets in her current role at Alair Savannah as director of client experience. The variety of day to day activities engages many of Jessica’s past experiences as well as allowing her chances to innovate, create and energize with the team. We teasingly shorten her job to anything related to the four Cs: culture, community, clients and collaborations. She shares her life outside work with her husband and cat. Her home is filled with artwork, as collecting is a huge passion of hers. She is passionate about the many roles she has filled in the local chapter of the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC.) and has most recently been elected president - elect. In her downtime she likes to cook, eat, talk about food, read, study astrology and tarot, and swim.

 
With a diverse career background and an eye for renovation work in her personal life, Emmy joins our team as a project manager.  With a determination to help others, a strong work ethic and killer communication skills - Emmy knows a thing or two about going the extra mile for her clients. She has over 8 years of account and project management experience working in fields such as marketing and recruitment.  In her free time she likes to spend time with her family [sometimes yelling at her two daughters], train for marathons [hates every minute of it], listen to murder mystery podcasts [investigative research is another hidden talent] and loving on her sweet husband, who comes second to her dog, Birdie. Clearly, humor and laughter are other great traits of Emmy’s personality!

 
A self motivated problem solver with a knack for creating order from chaos, Annie builds teams and creates processes resulting in smooth and efficient operations. Annie’s background in project management includes design management, commercial and residential construction types.
 
After hours, Annie likes to spend time with her husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs. She and her husband enjoy fixing up their home on Betz Creek including seeming endless dock repairs. In between repairs, Annie likes to paddle-board, watch the kids fish and read endless amounts of books.

 
Michael joins our team after many years in various facets of construction and management. Born in New York, raised in Columbia, South America, then led to attending high school in Bluffton, South Carolina. After spending many years in hospitality, where he learned how to be a team player as well as provide excellent service, Michael started in construction at Sherwin-Williams. There he met David through his painting company, and its safe to say, years later, they have been reunited at Alair Low Country! While Michael has a history that includes concrete, drywall, paint, estimating, remodeling and production building, he is looking forward to learning the custom residential world. Michael enjoys extreme sports, outdoor activities and traveling. His girlfriend, son and stepchildren live in Columbia so traveling there four to six times a year is a must.

 
Detailed and thorough are eagle eyed Ashley’s middle names! Ashley joins our team with years of experience in the built environment. Starting with her dad, who was a contractor in North Carolina, she’s been on job sites of some kind practically since she could walk. She has her general contractor’s license in Georgia and South Carolina and has a passion for transforming people’s spaces as well as historic preservation and restoration. Ashley has a heart for animals and has rabbits and cats at home that keep her and her husband on their toes! When she isn’t passionately espousing on the ins and ons of renovations, she is the treasurer for NAWIC Coastal Georgia, a member of the Burnside Island Neighborhood association board, part of a zoning review committee and an amazing cocktail maker!

 
With a unique blend of meticulous attention to detail and get-it-done attitude, Jessica steps into the role of executive assistant to help bring organization, simplification and efficacy to the team. She is skilled with an attention to detail, calming presence and a desire to support the team. She is excited about learning about custom residential construction. Prior to joining Alair, she has extensive retail management and ownership in her background. She also worked with a past Alair client creating a jewelry line out of recycled materials. She continues to design and make jewelry that has a very earthy and natural vibe. She has spent the last few years managing a couple very near and dear projects : her two daughters and husband! She likes a nice glass of wine, spending time at the pool and reading in her time off. To really unwind though she loves to switch off her brain and watch a reality TV show.
