Part-Time Contract Regional Community Manager
Reports to Director of Public Relations, Alair Enterprises.
Alair™, the largest and fastest-growing premium construction management franchise in North America, is looking for a part-time contract Regional Community Manager to support our Florida regions with the possibility to expand support to various other regions in the United States.
This position is perfect for small PR agencies, or an independent PR consultant.
The Regional Community Manager works with the Home Office Brand Marketing and PR team to support local and regional communications strategies, which may include the following activities:
Strategic Planning & Budgeting
- Work with regional partner and Alair corporate office to budget and plan key activities quarterly and annually
- Maintain records of regionalized marketing budget and report to regional partners quarterly
- Build a localized communication and stakeholder engagement plan to support Alair’s corporate and regional business and brand objectives
- Monthly meetings with RCM team
- Monthly status updates with Public Relations Director
- Collaborate with Alair Home Office on enterprise opportunities
- Attend quarterly planning meetings with Regional Partner and Home Office marketing team
Public, Media and Influencer Relations
- Manage relationships with local media and influencers
- Seek out proactive brand placement opportunities
- Write and disseminate press releases and other media material as needed
- Distribute national information to local contacts when relevant
- Media train brand spokespeople (partners) and help prepare for opportunities
- Collaborate with market partners on cross-promotional opportunities
Community Engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility
- Identify key community partnerships and align the Alair brand accordingly while following the brand framework and core values
- Facilitate sponsorship opportunities through community activations that bring #TeamAlair into the community through meaningful, yet measurable, activations
- Identify ways Alair can live and breathe a fundamental value of helping people live happier, healthier and more productive lives
Event Management
- Work with Alair partners to identify, plan and execute community, trade and educational events
- Create event plans, briefs and budgets
- Manage execution of event
Social Media and Brand Journalism
- Build and update monthly content calendar
- Support blog post creation, publishing and sharing when relevant (to supplement and support SEO blog posts)
- Curate content for social media platforms
- Engage with community of followers
- Monitor and measure social media monthly, and provide reports
Subject Matter Expert Programming
- Identify key local events for speaking or presentation opportunities
- Prepare and coach local spokespeople (partners) and help prepare presentations as needed
- Support SMEs or thought-leaders with content marketing opportunities
Marketing
- Support trade show events and ensure necessary materials are completed for use at event
- Work with Alair corporate marketing to coordinate artwork design briefs for advertising, project signage, etc.
- Setup and produce photo and video shoots as required
