Steven Cowan

Originally for Ayr Scotland, near Glasgow, Steven Cowan demonstrates how grit, skill, proper planning, and a little luck can turn vision into the American dream. With his strong values, a work ethic second to none, and his engaging Scottish accent, Steven has been embraced by the Naples community, and even the most discerning clients recommend him without reservation knowing that he is simply the best choice for luxury residential projects. Steven has a degree in Industrial Management Process Control from Ayr in the heart of Robert Burns country College and has a background in engineering. He has been building and renovating homes since 2004 in the Naples area and most recently was the founder and owner of SBC Construction before being awarded the Alair partnership in the area. Steven is also a certified residential contractor and member of the CBIA and FHBA and NHBA. He has three children, twin grandchildren, and is married to Emma, his partner at Alair. When not working, Emma and Steven can be found supporting their respective European soccer teams, paddle boarding, boating, playing pickleball, and enjoying the beautiful white sandy beaches in the area.
Emma Cowan

Originally from England, Emma is the mother of two professional soccer players and is Steven’s work partner and spouse. She has a degree in political science and her experience includes being the research director at a research/design agency and renovating several properties in the UK. After speaking with her you will know you are in good hands thanks to her empathic nature and good listening skills not to mention her beautiful English accent that is the icing on the cake. Emma has an optimistic, contagious can-do attitude and firmly believes in only leaving good things behind as she travels through life. She looks forward to working with you to make your home building experience in the Naples area an enjoyable one.
