Hammel
Alair Regional Partner James Hammel and Alair Partner Lisa Hammel run the Alair|Hammel office, which was previously JRH Design Build. As the first independent office in the greater Dallas region, the Hammels have a wide collection of award-winning custom homes in their portfolio. James has been in the home building and remodeling industry for more than 25 years and is committed to upholding the highest construction standards and customer service for his clients.
Their projects have been featured in many notable publications, including DHome, Veranda, and Building Savvy. In 2021, the Hammel office teamed up with Yates Desygn to participate in the Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Dallas. In addition, James currently serves as the president of the North Texas chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and has been active in the Dallas Builders Association.
Hatfield
Partners Diane and Chad Hatfield lead the Alair|Hatfield team. Chad is no stranger to the home building and remodeling industry where he has been active for more than 20 years with his legacy business, Hatfield Builders & Remodelers. Chad has been certified by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) as a Master Certified Remodeler (MCR) and Master Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler (MCKBR).
Together, the Hatfields have produced some of the finest renovations in the greater Dallas region, with award-winning projects that have been recognized at a local, regional and national level. Additionally, their work has been featured in many news outlets, including Modern Luxury Dallas and Modern Luxury Interiors.
Scarlett
Partner Mike Scarlett has specialized in the custom home building and remodeling industry for nearly 20 years. Mike has built picturesque homes in Frisco and surrounding communities. With a servant’s heart, Mike has a passion for using his talents to volunteer and give back to his community. For many years, Mike has been active with Spirit of a Hero, a Dallas-based organization that provides financial, developmental, and community support to veterans of the United States armed forces and their families, where he recently served as president of its board of directors.

Lowry
With 30 years of experience in the remodeling industry, Partner Cole Lowry joined the Alair family in 2022. Cole credits his passion for home building to his family, stating that some of his fondest memories come from his childhood, as he helped sweep up sawdust and hid in the rafters of construction sites. Along with his wife and business partner Joelle Lowry, the Lowrys look forward to growing their business with Alair and providing their clients with the unparalleled service and high-quality projects that Alair is known for. Their concepts are family focused and elevate the homes to a more modern, functional sanctuary for the family. The driving factor in their longevity is their commitment to family, honesty, enthusiasm, and passion to build better spaces.
When they’re not working, the Lowrys love to spend their weekends on the water, surrounded by friends and family.
Zuch
Partners Sherry and Paul Zuch have more than 30 years of experience in the Dallas remodeling industry. Paul launched his own remodeling company, Capital Renovations Group, in 1999 and has provided beautiful, award-winning homes for the greater Dallas region ever since. Their projects have been recognized by NARI as a National Contractor of the Year (CotY) award winner, along with many other notable awards. Additionally, Paul is a Certified Remodeler (CR) and a Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The Alair Zuch team love to collaborate with architects and interior designers on major renovations, custom homes, outdoor living spaces and additions. Complex, architect and designer-driven projects are what they excel at. They enjoy delivering a great experience for their clients, design team, trades, and team members.
The Zuchs are huge animal lovers and have spent time volunteering and raising funds for various nonprofits that give back and help protect animals. In their free time, they love to spend time with their furry friends Bella and Alair, a rescue pup that now serves as the company’s official mascot!
