Families can enjoy a few viewing of the cartoon classic, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer throughout the day, and once they have traveled to the Island of Misfit Toys, they can get a picture with Santa and his real-live reindeer! Once the photo op is over, families can enjoy shopping in Santa’s Secret Shop, join in on a scavenger hunt, imbibe in some hot chocolate and assorted holiday treats, get your holiday craft on, and scope out the magnificent Christmas tree exhibit. Tickets are $35 for one adult and one child, and $15 for each additional child, and the event takes place on December 8.

If you enjoy touring local historic old homes, then this is the event for you. The gorgeous Herndon Mansion opens its doors on December 15 and invites you to explore the 15 rooms in the home specially decorated for Christmas. Not only can you revel in the splendor of the lavish décor and holiday cheer, you may get some ideas for your own custom home renovations. Inspiration is everywhere!

Atlanta Women’s Chorus: Holidays Together

As is evidenced by the wild popularity of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, there is something mesmerizing about the way Christmas music sounds when it is sung by a choir. This is the first ever holiday concert for the choir and features local youth choirs, as well. Not only are they set to sing classic and modern Christmas songs, they are also singing songs about Hanukah and general winter tunes. You can catch the concert on December 16.
