Amanda Harris

Project Manager

Born and raised in Birmingham, AL, Amanda Harris grew up in a family of passionate Auburn fans, with her grandparents having worked at the university. There she earned her degree in Industrial Design and has built a diverse career of operations and design management across industries like retail, architectural stained glass and tech. Amanda’s journey has taken her from the Cayman Islands to San Francisco, and finally to Decatur, where she joined Alair Homes in 2022. She thrives on collaborating with market and trade partners to meticulously plan each project. In her downtime, Amanda enjoys baking, photography, and exploring new culinary experiences.

Anthony Hamilton

Lead Carpenter

A lifelong resident of Decatur, Anthony Hamilton has been deeply rooted in the community from an early age. Starting his construction career at just 12 years old, he gained hands-on experience working with his uncle, pouring concrete for driveways. Over the years, Anthony has become a trusted figure in the local construction industry, with nearly three decades of experience. His favorite part of his job at Alair Homes Decatur is delivering happy clients and ensuring their satisfaction with the final product. Outside of work, Anthony is an active member of his church and cherishes the support and guidance he has received from his godsent parents.

Heidi Parlato

Lead Carpenter

Heidi Parlato’s journey began in the heart of Indiana, where she grew up as an adventurous, outdoor-loving child. Drawn to the sea, she joined the U.S. Coast Guard, where she developed a deep love for maritime life and gained valuable experience in search and rescue. After her service, Heidi pursued a degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, eventually settling in Atlanta in 2007. Here, she established her own construction management business and embraced her role as a mother. Heidi’s favorite part of her job at Alair Decatur is streamlining the management process and ensuring clients have a positive experience. In her free time, you can find her by the water, enjoying the tranquility it brings.

Kara Adams

Sales Assistant

Kara Adams has deep roots in Atlanta, having lived in the area for most of her life. Originally from Boston, MA, Kara is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia. Her career journey began in the television industry, but her passion for design eventually led her to Alair Decatur. Kara’s favorite aspect of her job is the opportunity to collaborate with her talented colleagues and the sense of community they foster. In her spare time, she volunteers at a local animal shelter and fosters dogs, combining her love for animals with her commitment to giving back.

Ken Carter

Project Manager

Ken Carter is a Georgia native with a passion for creating unique home designs that exceed clients' expectations. With 35 years of experience in facility and construction management, both commercial and residential, Ken brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Alair Decatur. A devoted husband and father of three daughters, Ken has spent his life cherishing the wonders of nature and sharing those experiences with his loved ones. His dedication to his craft and commitment to a positive client experience make him an invaluable asset to the team.

Vincent Heyward

Project Manager

Raised in the South with a strong sense of family, Vincent Heyward has always had a passion for helping others. His journey in construction began at a young age, learning the trade alongside his uncle. With a natural ability to visualize projects from start to finish, Vincent brings a unique perspective to his role at Alair Decatur. He finds great satisfaction in seeing the completion of a project and the joy it brings to homeowners as they return to their revitalized spaces. Outside of work, Vincent enjoys fishing, spending time with family, and embracing the simple pleasures of life.
