Alair Decatur Wins Three 2025 NARI National Remodeler of the Year Awards!

Hot on the heels of being named a 2025 Southeast Regional Remodeler of the Year in March, Alair Decatur has secured top honors from NARI as a 2025 National Remodeler of the Year!

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) announced the winners of the 2025 National Remodeler of the Year (RotY) awards on April 9th, 2025, during its Evening of Excellence program at the NARI Annual Conference in Austin, Texas.

“Being recognized as a 2025 Regional RotY award winner was confirmation of or team’s ability to leverage relationships, partnerships and dedication in order to deliver 110% for our clients.” says Heather Shuster, Partner and Owner of Alair Decatur.

All three of Alair Decatur’s 2025 National RotY awards centered on the innovative, historically inspired solutions that Shuster’s team and market partners delivered for a growing family of four in Decatur, GA.

The homeowners purchased this 1930s Decatur home knowing that it was a slam dunk in terms of location and potential, while also knowing that this tiny home would soon be bursting at the seams if they couldn’t quickly find a way to add space while highlighting the unique character of the home.

With architectural design solutions provided by Nualla Residential Design, interior design provided by Gordon Dunning Interior Design Studio and more than two decades of experience working on historic homes, Alair Decatur delivered the award-winning solution.

What was once far too small now offers a wealth of possibilities for the homeowner. The design is a beautiful complement to the existing historic charm of the home and the new outdoor living area is a beautiful blend of function and aesthetics. Alair Decatur and its partners delivered additional space and top-notch design solutions without compromising small-home charm.
