Mark joined the Alair Sanibel team just over two years ago and has quickly become an integral part of our operation. As a Project Manager, he led with focus, consistency, and professionalism—balancing job walks, schedules, client communications, trade coordination, and procurement with a steady hand and positive energy. Mark has a unique ability to make a complex day look seamless, all while delivering high-quality results for homeowners and partners alike.
His very first day set the tone for what was to come.
Mark arrived at a job site devastated by a recent hurricane—a scene of disorder and overwhelming damage. Instead of backing away, he leaned in. With sleeves rolled up and a determined mindset, he stepped into the chaos and got to work. That willingness to lead through challenges, to take ownership, and to stay calm under pressure has defined his career ever since.
At Alair, we often say that Project Managers (PM) are the CEOs of every project. They are the primary connection to our clients and the key link between designers, engineers, trade professionals, and market partners. While this critical role is sometimes under-recognized across the industry, we believe in investing deeply in our PMs—not only through hands-on experience but through programs like the PM Summit, which offers leadership development, peer networking, and the resources to grow both personally and professionally.
Mark’s promotion is a clear example of our PM-to-Partner pipeline in action. This initiative is a unique aspect of Alair’s culture—empowering high-performing project managers to take ownership and leadership in an independently owned franchise without the financial risk of starting from scratch. It reflects our belief that when we support and elevate our internal talent, the entire team—and our clients—benefit.
