Mast Complete Outdoor Living Area

There were two challenges – The homeowners wanted a detached studio, but that did not meet HOA standards for the neighborhood, so the solution was to attach the storage area to the home with a covered walkway between the two structures. There were significant structural considerations and connectors required to make the new roof line work with the existing interior vaulted living room – we added a shed roof with a gable end detail to keep the roof line low and to create custom, beautiful exterior lines without compromising the interior light and feel of the living room.
