Ranked the #1 private high school in the Charlotte area, and the second best private K-12 school in North Carolina, Charlotte Country Day School is at the top of our list. With a student to teacher ratio of 8:1, an average ACT score of 31, and a 100% graduation rate, this school will provide your child with the best education Charlotte can offer. Additionally, arts are integral to this school’s curriculum, allowing students to explore their creativity to the fullest.

#2 Private School: Providence Day School

For the past two years, Providence Day School has seen its alumni go above and beyond, with acceptances to all eight Ivy League universities. In fact, after graduation, 100% of students that graduate from this school attend a 4-year college. However, being one of the best comes with a steep price, with tuition to this K-12 school costing up to $24,030 a year.

#3 Private School: Charlotte Latin School

With a yearly tuition of $22,340, this private school is third on our list and the fourth best private K-12 school in the state.
