Travis commenced his professional journey as a financial analyst in the corporate realm but soon realized his true calling was outside the corporate office walls. Drawing inspiration from his home-building parents, Travis decided to venture into the construction industry. In 2004 he started his own company, Travis Miller Homes, focusing on constructing distinctive and beautiful custom homes in the southwest Missouri region. Beyond the accolades and numerous awards his homes have garnered, Travis takes immense pride in the relationships forged with his clients.

Operating his company with a commitment to open and honest transparency, Travis has created a reputation for excellent craftsmanship and stunning home designs recognized by the local building industry. With over a decade of volunteer service with the local Home Builder’s Association of Greater Springfield, Travis provides valuable insight and wisdom to the building community. Celebrating a joyful marriage of over 25 years with his wife Lisa and two adult children, Mason and Rylan. Travis and his family find joy in spending summers together at Table Rock Lake.

Aaron Wyssmann

For over two decades, Aaron has been married to his beautiful wife, Sara, and together they’ve raised three remarkable children: Braden, Norah, and Scarlett. Aaron’s joy is found in spending quality time with his family, whether it’s on their farm, by the lake, or during outdoor activities like hiking and camping. A dedicated mentor within his church and various ministries, Aaron finds fulfillment in guiding others.

Although Aaron commenced his career as a high school math teacher, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to venture into home building during nights and weekends while teaching starting in 2002. The challenges of the 2008 Great Recession redirected his path temporarily, but not permanently. In 2015, armed with his tools in the back of his Toyota 4Runner, he founded Ozarks Remodeling & Design. Driven by a constant desire for growth and improvement, Aaron discovered the perfect fit for his aspirations in Alair in 2023. This transformative journey led him to share the opportunity with his close friend, Travis Miller. As discussions unfolded, the decision to join forces became clear, creating a synergy that enhances their business for clients and team members alike.

Todd Strouphauer

Project Manager

Todd’s journey in the construction realm began in his high school freshman year, where he delved into carpentry through vo-tech. Working under a residential contractor during his high school years, Todd transitioned to a supervisory role in the manufactured home industry post-graduation. Relocating to Missouri in 2010, he assumed the position of superintendent in a construction company specializing in multi-unit apartment buildings. In 2018, Todd embarked on a new chapter with Travis Miller Homes, contributing his skills as a superintendent for custom home builds. Alongside his professional achievements, Todd shares a fulfilling family life with his wife, Becki, and their two daughters, Katelynn and Paizlee. During his leisure moments, Todd finds joy in camping by the lake with his family or immersing himself in the tranquility of the woods while hunting.

Jay Servis

Project Coordinator

Jay Servis began his construction career in 2005, working alongside his father in the family-owned construction and remodeling business. Over nearly two decades, he gained hands-on experience in every aspect of residential construction, developing a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and the importance of doing things the right way.
In 2025, Jay, his wife Brittany, and their daughter Aniston relocated to Springfield, Missouri, to be closer to family and begin a new chapter. Today, as a Project Coordinator with Alair Homes, he combines his field experience with a passion for helping homeowners bring their visions to life through thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and clear communication.
When he’s not working, Jay enjoys spending time with Brittany and Anniston and making the most of family life. Family remains at the center of everything he does, both personally and professionally, and continues to inspire the values he brings to every project and client relationship.

Maddie Grubb

Office Administrator

Madison Grubb graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in Marketing and began her career in the construction industry in 2019. Starting as an office manager, she quickly developed a passion for the industry and advanced into purchasing and operations management through her dedication, organization, and leadership skills.

With experience managing day-to-day operations, coordinating purchasing, and supporting project success, Madison brings a strong work ethic and detail-oriented approach to every aspect of her role. Her background in marketing and operations allows her to effectively communicate, problem-solve, and help streamline processes within the company.

Outside of work, Madison enjoys spending time with her husband, Daniel, and their two young boys, Owen and Isaac, in coastal North Carolina. Whether it’s relaxing at the beach with her family or staying active on the soccer field, she values quality time and an active lifestyle. Before entering the construction industry, Madison played professional soccer in Iceland following her college graduation, an experience that helped shape her teamwork, discipline, and competitive drive.
