Brewnuts
Opening near the end of July this year on the corner of West 65th Street and Detroit Avenue, Brewnuts will be a new donut bar coming to Cleveland. The new beer-based donut-maker’s donut bar will consist of 16 taps, cans, and bottles of beer! They don’t just serve donuts and beer, either… Look forward to donut-breaded chicken and donut sandwiches!
Citizen Pie
In Ohio City, Citizen Pie plans to open shop on West 25th Street this summer! Serving pies, salads, beer, and wine, the new restaurant claims they are the “Pizza for the People.” That’s something we can all get behind!
Luna Bakery and Café
After opening shop in Cleveland Heights, Luna Bakery is now preparing to launch their second location in Moreland Hills, Chagrin Falls. You will now be able to enjoy the European-style pastries in the larger location, with an extra 35 seats for all customers!
DistinctCle
Just having recently launched in Cleveland, DistinctCle is in the Tenk Building on the West Bank of the Flats. They’re brand new and are something to look forward to in the upcoming year! The small business creates all things Cleveland by curating customized crates, completely sources with 100% local products.
Flats Forward
Now that Phase I and II of the East Bank of the Flats redevelopment is complete, there is now talk of a Phase III this Spring! A plan to bring a movie theater, more retail and restaurant space, and an apartment tower to the river front will be underway soon. As the Flats were the place to be in 2017, you can expect even more excitement this year!
