Downtown Hudson will be transformed into a holiday wonderland. The storefronts in downtown will serve as the backdrop for the event. With carolers, special sales, contests and plenty of hot cocoa to go around, this will be a great event that will last all day. The Holiday Walk will take place on December 6 from 12 P.M. to 5 P.M.

Live Nativity

With tummies warm with hot chocolate and bags filled with shopping goodies, take the family to check out the live nativity scene at the Clocktower Green. Organized by the First Congregational Church of Hudson, the live scene will be completely realistic with live animals. You can check it out from 12 P.M. to 5 P.M. on December 6.

Holiday Networking Coffee At The Chamber

There is even something for the workaholic. Grab your business cards and holiday-themed tie and enjoy a cup of coffee at the Hudson Chamber of Commerce on December 8. This networking opportunity will not only allow you to nurture your professional career, but also spread some holiday cheer.

Boy Scout Troop 333 Christmas Tree Sale

Find the perfect family Christmas tree and help out a great cause at the same time. Troop 333 will have a wide variety of Ohio-grown trees ready for purchase. You can swing by the troop’s Log Cabin green anytime through the month of December.

“The Happy Elf”

Hudson’s Young Actors Studio will present a version of Harry Connick, Jr.’s ‘The Happy Elf.’ This musical comedy is great for all ages. With plenty of catchy musical numbers and side-splitting jokes, this is a production you should not miss. The show will run from December 10 through 12.

Hudson Chamber Professional Women’s Network

If you have trouble staying motivated over the holidays, this event is for you. A wellness expert will be sharing some tips on healthy and nutritious living, which will allow you to get the most out of your holiday. Learn how to manage the stress and keep yourself feeling energized and happy throughout the holidays. The event will take place at Hudson’s Lager & Vine on December 16. Registration is required.

Frosty 5 Mile and Mistletoe Mile Fun Run

Get more use at that ugly (or beautiful) Christmas sweater and throw on some running shoes for a unique Christmas Eve experience. The third annual Frosty 5 Mile And Mistletoe Mile Fun Run will raise much-needed funds for JDFR Diabetes Foundation and help fight against juvenile diabetes. The Akron Canton Food Bank will also be on hand accepting donation of canned food items. Whether you decide to run or walk, make sure to participate in the ugly sweater contest that will take place before the races.
