North Dallas Bluffview

2021 NARI CotY National Award for Residential Detached Structure.

This Dallas home in the upscale neighborhood of Bluffview Estates has been handed down through generations and is still being enjoyed by the original family that purchased it in 1938. The main home was added on to years ago, so it was now time to freshen up the exterior with some bright white paint and tear down the original guest house that was in terrible shape and rebuild something fabulous and functional! They had major drainage issues, which they could not do much about because they were at the bottom of a hill, so every time it rained their backyard would flood into the pool. They had to something to fix it! A large retaining wall was put in at the back of their property and then the new guest house and garage were built and then finished off with an amazing outdoor living area.

The guest house comes complete with a pool bath and an exquisite summer kitchen, which includes an Evo, a grill, and a pizza oven, as well as an ice maker and refrigerator to keep things cold. The modern stairs lead up to the crow’s nest, where guests can relax and get a good night’s sleep after playing in the pool all day.

This garage is the ultimate man cave with space for the owner’s four Harleys and his 2-car garage with a lift, making it a 3-car garage! The backyard was covered in turf, so no more mud coming in on the dog’s paws when it rains. Our clients (and their guests) absolutely love their new outdoor living spaces, as it has definitely changed their daily living!
