Matt Bieschke, Northern Virginia custom home builder and owner of Carbon Design Build, is proud to announce that he has joined the rapidly growing Alair™ franchise as the third office in Northern Virginia and the 100th in the franchise.

“What excites me about joining Alair is the people, the collaboration, the regional presence, and the fact that we can do better for our community and clients as part of Alair,” said Bieschke.

Founded in 2007 in British Columbia, Canada, Alair has grown into the world’s largest premium custom home building and large-scale renovation/remodeling brand. The franchise exclusively recruits high-quality builders who have demonstrated a high level of skill and expertise and a solid reputation in their market.

Bieschke has been a Northern Virginia custom home builder for ten years. The transition to Alair Alexandria is more than a rebranding; while his team and market partners are unchanged, Alair provides clients advantages available because of their scale and Alair’s proprietary Client Control™ system.

“Joining the network is bigger than just me,” said Bieschke. “As an Alair partner, I can now leverage resources proven to better the construction experience for my clients. Alair offers a level of transparency unparalleled in the industry.”

Alair Cares – Alair’s Commitment to Community

The resources are not the only thing that attracted Bieschke to the Alair franchise. Alair prides itself on its commitment to making its partners’ communities a better place for their customers to live. In 2022, the franchise donated $750K and 1,600 volunteer hours towards supporting charities throughout North America.

“With the regional presence here in Northern Virginia, as well as across North America, we have a much better ability to give back to the community and support charities in a way that I could never do on my own as an independent builder,” said Bieschke.

“We are delighted to welcome Carbon Design Build to the Alair network as Alair Alexandria, our third franchise office in Northern Virginia, marking a significant milestone as the 100th franchise,” said Rob Cecil, president of Alair. “Matt Bieschke and his team bring a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to quality and community that perfectly aligns with Alair’s values. This partnership will not only elevate the home building and remodeling experience for homeowners in Alexandria and the surrounding areas but also strengthen our collective impact in supporting local charities and making a positive difference in the communities we serve.”

At the Alair Alexandria launch event on Thursday, November 9, Bieschke and more than 100 guests and event sponsors raised $8,625 and collected over 800 pounds of food for ALIVE!. ALIVE! is a non-profit organization that provides food, transitional shelter, financial help, eviction prevention, and furniture & housewares for thousands of individuals in Alexandria, Va., every month.

Expanding a Team of Northern Virginia Custom Home Builders

The new Alair Alexandria office joins Alair Arlington and Alair Hunt Country, expanding the franchise’s reach from the DC-Metro area to Western Loudoun County. “We are incredibly proud of Alair’s growth in Northern Virginia and our homeowners’ trust in us,” said Chad Hackmann, Northern Virginia Regional Partner and Partner at Alair Arlington. “This new office is a testament to our dedication to excellence and commitment to serving the Alexandria community with the same exceptional service and craftsmanship that has defined Alair since its inception. I can’t think of a more fitting partner for Alair Alexandria than Matt Bieschke.”
